That tape art is an unavoidable contemporary artistic manifestation is well known by Jose Miguel Piquer, one of the founders of the TAV (Tape Art Valencia) collective, which was born in 2011 with the intention of promoting this discipline in Spain.

TAV has carried out more than 200 interventions for artistic competitions, brands, museums, exhibitions, institutions, festivals, as well as offices and venues. They have taken their art to emblematic buildings such as the Bancaja Foundation, the Palau de la Generalitat, or the La Nau Cultural Center of the University of Valencia. In recent years, the collective (which, along with Piquer, is led by Alvaro Navarro and Nadia Montero) has also started a phase in which they conduct workshops for the youngest in places like the Valencian Institute of Modern Art. They have also worked in Barcelona and Madrid. Their hallmarks are geometric figures and fluorescent colors.
